Looking for a mk1 cab
« on: 04 March 2010, 17:03 »
Hi all,

I have never ventured into the mk1 section before! My favorite has always been the mk2, however! I am now on the hunt for a mk1 cabby and am a bit lost as to what price a good one would go for, so anyone with experience of buying one please send your advice this way!

Seen these so far -

Thanks in advance!
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

On the face of it they all look reasonably priced. Clippers (carbed rather than injected) are usually cheaper anyway.
......now officially dubless.

I only ended up looking at the one at the bottom of the first post as havent had time to travel any distance to look. But didnt end up getting it coz I can hold out for a really nice one because I have a car I use daily already. Watch this space!

I wish you luck mate, the only thing about waiting is going to be the premium which will be commanded as soon as the big yellow thingy comes out   if it ever does

Yeah this is true! But im keeping an eye on autotrader, pistonheads, here etc so hopefully somthing will come up. Failing that it will be a tidy mk2 gti instead :D

When I was looking for a cab years ago the prices were pretty static all year round to be honest.
