It is a cracking piece of kit if your not bothered about Sat Nav, prob let it go for about £250  :rolleyes:

You can always better it for soundstage and imaging. For tonality? due to what will need to be changed and excluding fitting and materials imo bottom budget no, top budget probably, (worth the effort, depends on the person 99.5% would say no) depends what you define as better.

Okay do you reckon £1000 spent on an amp and speakers in the existing locations get you better? Decent bass but a nice soundstage is what I'm after I'd say.

Nice to meet you Neil that is an awesome car you have,  I forgot to check the rear view camera but I did turn it on so should be fine,  hope you a safe drive home in this cra**y weather,

Just got back from Mortys after he has installed my Rns510 top piece of kit,
Me happy puppy  :grin:

He also sorted rain closure and alarm chirp when locking while i was there and gave me lastest disc with speed cameras, Mak ds, travelodges etc.

As it only does the first 4 digits of a post code can you enter the rest of the address to find the exact house or buisness, so creating a door to door route? :undecided:

Yes you can fill the rest of the address in, my house dosn't show up on most sat navs cos it is a new build but it shows up on this 1  :laugh:

I may have to look into one :smiley: It was the postcode thing that had me worried as i can head north went i want to go south my sense of direction is that good :grin: So i need to go door to door. :grin:

Anyone want to reccomend a trusted seller of them out there?

For what it is worth, I have looked around and checked where best to get the RNS 510 supplied and fitted. I have decided to go with OEM Retrofits. They will supply and install it for me in London for £600. They are very highly recommended. I am not looking for a cut price deal but one that is good value for money and involves as little problem or worry for me as possible. Obviously, at this price the units are not brand new, but you will have some difficulty to see any flaws in the finish.

Snoopy, from what i've heard (read) , Darren seems like a decent sort of bloke and he can supply and fit them.
Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂
