Polish advice/engine rubbers/plastic

Hi There

Can anyone offer advice on some good quality polish that i can apply by hand that will give my car the
shine and protection needed in these lovely UK weather conditions we have and where to buy it from.

Also some product advice on what to use in the engine bay to clean up the rubber/plastics.

There has been quite a few threads recently about polishing and waxing. As for the engine bay - degrease it and then try something like 303 Aerospace Protectant or Poorboys Natural Look Dressing.
