NEW SHOES
« on: 02 March 2010, 21:49 »
Despite the advice of fellows on here, i went ahead and fitted my 5x112 borbet A's today.....

with 20m spacers all round..... quite pleased with the look, (although the car is filthy)

pity im getting slight wheel vibration from the front but it was either this or buy new tyres all round for the standard alloys (which i hate)

i hear u..... i use this (because my gttdi broke) as a daily commute of 80miles a day 5 days a week

and if i did slam it i'd need uber stiff coillies i think, as my journey is riddled with pot holes and frought with danger.....

already killed a deer, and seen about 5 smashed abandoned cars this month.....

but yeah, down & out for the win!!!!11!!

oh yea, & my mate at quick fit stretched on 195/45/16's (conti's) onto them, think they should be 205's, would have liked 185/50/16, but the tyres were £80 for 4....

just need to fill in the tow bar hole at the back now.... weather permitting

looks good, would look better a bit lower but as you say potholes and general ride wouldn't be so good on the country roads.
Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?
