I don't really rate the Monzas either to be honest. Couldn't believe it when the lazy fookers at VW kept them for the Mk5.5. But at least they are shiny and not black.

Yeah, it's the black gunge I don't like. The standard 17" Monzas aren't that bad... :smiley:

By the way, 18" Monza Shadows only look good on a Tornado Red GTi.
They do look rather awful with the other colours. :laugh:
You have just reminded me: got to go and pour myself a glass of lovely French red wine now. :smiley:

No dont agree, ive had both a tornado red GTI with monza shadows and a white GTI with monza shadows and the white looks a lot better with them! :tongue: :tongue:

That is because they take your eye off the 'white goods' effect!
Pity it takes a wheel to set off a colour. :laugh:

I saw a Mk5 GTI on 18 inch Monzas and they looked no where near as nice as the Mk6 design with the black inserts.   Grey inserts just looked dull IMHO  :tongue:
