Thanks and Goodbye
« on: 01 March 2010, 16:49 »
Hi all

Due to the break up of my long term relationship at Christmas, I have unfortunately had to rework my finances and make some drastic decisions, one of which was the sale of my 'Valver'. Words cannot express how gutted I am, and seeing her being driven off by her new owner yesterday was horrible, but needs must if I am to keep hold of my home and purchase another car that I can use daily on a very long commute!

Anyway, I just wanted to thank everybody who gave me advice and help during my purchase cycle in early 2009, it was priceless information that helped me buy a real minter, something I doubt I'll ever be able to find again. Also when I did have a question over my ownership period the answers here have always been spot on!

She has gone to a good home (an enthusiast), and the owner is going to keep her 100% OEM as I did.

This is by far the best GolfGTi forum out there, so thanks again.

Cheers :)

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

That's a huge shame.  Surely there must have been something else you could have done......

Guess not
