As long as the stereo is the factory fitted one it won't ask you for the code even if you disconnect it.  It only asks for the code if its in a different vehicle to the one it was originally installed in.

I would turn the interior lights etc off so your not pulling a fuse that has a load running though it.  Otherwise you won't do any damage.  IIRC the main fuses for the ECU etc are in the engine compartment.

Worst comes to the worst you will have some warning lights which will clear the next time you take the car above 15 mph (abs, esp and power steering lights).  Its the same as disconnecting the battery effectively.

Ok, so I've now tried the fuse pulling option to look for blown fuses, but none found!

So now what? I'm stumped!  :undecided:

I still recon the power is linked through the same fuse, thats what the fuse diagram seems to say anyway? It seems odd that the heated seat and motorised lumbar support (both fed from different fuses) dont work only on the passenger side.

There must be a connection issue somewhere? But where? All the plugs under the seats seem ok, both passenger and driver side? Is there a connection somewhere else? Behind the dash? That might be loose or come adrift?

Can anyone offer anymore help?

Cheers.
Steve.

There is yeah. I just always like to have a good bash myself before I spend money on something I could have done easily myself if I can obtain the correct information.

I'll go there as a last resort!

Might check the wiring loom diagrams and see where the cables run.
