PIC'S AS PROMISED OF MY VR6 - FINALLY CLEANED UP
« on: 28 February 2010, 19:30 »

Finnaly got some pic's of my vr6 after a good clean and i also fitted my coil over kit, currently running 120mm drop, cought the front splitter 2 times and cracked the corner once ... had the tracking all set up on a fancy 4 post ramp with laser tracking built into it, so handels a treat....

Next mods are, smoked front fogs/indicators and morrette twin head light conversion and ditch that barry boy grill..

Comments welcome....

Nice clean looking motor Mate....but in my opinion it just looks too low. But if you like it that's all that matters       Cheers      Deano

Not bad for £550 quid hey lol.... I agree it is fair low but it is sat on 15" wheels, I'm going to raise it back up a bit but i cant get the jack or ramp legs under it lol ...

Agreed its to low but looks good otherwise......and unlike some i think the grill looks good and with the quads will look better.

120mm? Mine's 120mm on 16's and looks the same as that, if not lower! As I've just changed to a US splitter for extra clearance!

I was wondering what the grill would look like if it did keep it with the twin head lights ?, maybe it might look good, i dunno... I haven't seen any other golf with a grill like that, it's got sws written accross the top when u open bonnet and a bill in service history for £137.99 for it

Gonna get some smoked front fog/indicators
twin head lights
Smoked side repeaters
new b sting ariel as mine fell off at 120 mph down the m5

Also want a stainless steel system but i don't want it loud, my middle box is blowing and the back box looks gay so i'm thinking of a cat back system - any body got any good idea's on that ??

Cheers....

The only issue with running a VR6 that low you can crack sumps.
