« on: 25 February 2010, 21:51 »
i have a 2.0 gti with no turbo just now but im thinking about making it a bit more powerfull
should i stick a turbo in the engine i have already or look for another engine that already has a turbo

also my car keeps giving me problems it is acting up in the cold weather and when im stationary for a few seconds i can feel the car shaking and the revs slightly falling even when the engine is heated up

I think you can't just stick the turbo to non-turbo engine, you need to change couple of other items as well. Better to get new engine with turbo, it might work out cheaper  :lipsrsealed:

A diesel? If you want a car that sounds like a skeleton wanking into a biscuit tin...
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

better off selling your non turbo and buying a turbo tbh mate. your engine problem sounds like MAF meter or coked up throttle body, or possibly temp sender.
