Indicators have stopped flashing when locking me golf

as above, was flashing away the other day but now its stopped, they still flash when i unlock the car. Any ideas?

Thats vw's for you. Give it 2 months and they will start working again!

Sounds like one of the door sensors has failed. The car thinks that one of the doors is still open and won't set the alarm, hence why the lights don't flash.

Open each door and make sure they all turn the interior lights on. I suspect (probably the drivers door as most used) one won't be switching properly.

Could it also be caused by the micro switch in the boot lock? Wouldn't surprise me if the rear washer jet has leaked on it and made it a bit damp? It's a common problem this time of year.

bit of a strange one really, when i got the car about a year ago they didnt work, then a mate at vw coded 2 new keys in for me and they started working, now theyre not. will have to investigate 2moz

Ditto on this, its the drivers door central locking motor that goes, the microswitch fails and the car will lock itself automatically while I'm putting my daughter in the car, came dangerously close to locking the keys in a couple of times now.

Must get it sorted ASAP.

ive had the car lock on me before whilst cleaning it, thank f**k it was at home and i had a spare key.

Wel the lights are now flashing again when locking.

Faulty door module will cause this.

mine does this some times... is it a bit/expensive job to replace the door module?
