Wobbly Idle
« on: 25 February 2010, 19:31 »
Hi all,

My car appears to have a bad wobble when idling. The only thing I can think of at the moment is a slight constant misfiring, but does anyone have any ideas?

It really is an obvious tremble!

I watched the exhaust for clues, and it's not a constant emission / sound - more of a pulsing every 1 second.

If it's missfiring, then it could be the distributor or the cap or both?

When I get it back from the garage I'll run through loads of checks. I might get some new spark plugs and a battery too  :embarassed:
