Car shaking itself apart!!
« on: 25 February 2010, 16:30 »
What a hell of a ride home that was, The car decided to turn itself into a jack hammer! front end is trying to shake me out of the seat! as soon as i hit 35mph it starts, whole thing wobbles, i initially thought someone had undone my wheel nuts! checked and not them, its far to violent to be balancing which was my second thought as the steering wheel is trying to rip itself out of my hands., but its still got its weights in place, so thinking its something else.

better get her up and see if anything has come undone somewhere! not good when you aint got the funds!!

Mine did a similar thing a few months ago..... The engine mounts had broken and the engine was resting on the driveshaft.....

Well, had a mobile mechanic out to look it over today, your gonna love this! apparently, the car is trying to self destruct coz i have muddy wheels......... yup, thats right, muddy wheels. so, he took it out, drove it, KERBED THE MIRROR FINISHED WHEELS, didnt tell me about it, but told me the price for coming to look at it................ to be continued.

I know, but i was in norwich with the missus, had to take her up there in my bro's car to do her driving test, my mate recommended him so i ws kinda sorting it on the journey up for me. my brother went out with him when he came. he has agreed to get it sorted, that or i set fire to his bike really, just hoping the company who sold me the wheels has a spare kicking about or will break a set for me or thats that f*cked. How good are wheel re furbs? im just a bit nervous if it goes down that route it might not be as good as it was!
