New Golf GTD arriving March 1 2010

Got a new VW arrtiving, curretly got a GT sport 170 DPF Diesel.  Anyone else got one coming................Intrested to hear views when they do?

I got hold of my white GTD 5DR in early December and its been spot on, even after a 16 week wait!! Its in standard spec but looks great and goes really well. Also sounds really good for a diesel, especially at 4000-5000 rpm in 3rd

I also have a GTD arriving 1st March.  Trading in a Tdi Sport 140 so can't wait for the performance boost.  Checked it over at dealers prior to it's PDI.  Amazing car, although I did find some minor problems. 1. Slight scratch marks on 3 of the alloys - probably caused by transporter tethering strapes. 2. Driver's door handle out of alignment when released.  3. No ipod cable for MDI.  Pointed these out to dealer who promised to rectify issues. Otherwise everything fine. Have been waiting since Sept 1st, car was on BW2 and arrived 7th Feb. Chose to wait to get a "10" plate as it was only 3 weeks away.  Car is in reflex silver (doesn't show the dirt as much) with following spec - RNS 510 with Dynaudio, ACC, Zenon's, Vancouver Alloys.  Found the check list from a previous thread invaluable when inspecting the vehicle.  Have you had a chance to look over you GTD before the big day!

RJW7250, what little extras is the dealer throwing in with your purchase.  Because I had to pay the extra 2.5% Vat, I managed to negotiate a full tank of deisel, free GAP Ins, Lifeshine Treatment, Mudflaps, Rigid Loadliner.

You will all be chuffed with your cars had mine for almost 6 months however I must admit the revo was worth every penny after driving our standard gtd demo the other day it makes a huge difference going to try get on rolling road this week : ) I am convinced revo has improved eonomy hugely it's more economical than the 1.6tdi 105 piece of crap we have

Make sure you inspect the car carefully after they do the lifeshine.
You might not see anything in the day light but examine it closely under the night lights as its not been unheard of the sponge monkeys to create damage while preparing the car.  Although they might be perfectly capable.

I just got mudflaps as extras.

I bought my car through fleet sales and got 9% discount off full RRP..............Has anyone done this, indeed did you know you can do it ?

I got my GTD at the start of January after a 23 week wait.

I ordered leather, xenons, rcd510 with dynaudio, reversing camera, candy white, cruise control, mudflaps, 3 door with the standard 17s.

I have put in some Eibach springs and a set of 19s.

I absolutely love it. I agree with the comments above about the sound of the car, it really sounds great under acceleration and very quiet when idling.

You won't be dissappointed!
