i had this with the front. I unscrewed what i could, removed everything that got in the way and just had to keep pulling at it in all directions enough so i could see the bolt. Unfortunately the consequence was one of the clamps come off the mechanism.

push it down, easy with no power. Take motor off, window might even drop.

Hi Mate. Easiest way is to obviously remove door card then unplug the motor. Undo and remove the four bolts that hold the mechanism to the door. Then the whole mechanism and glass can be lowered to the bottom of the door giving you easy access to the bolts which retain the glass. Cheers Deano

The glass is held by 2 clamps, which are attached to the regulator.
If you undo the bolts on them, then you can remove the glass (carefully!) from the top completely, if needed.
Removing the mech is what Deano said.

i couldnt find a way to do it without breaking it. My clamp got stuck at the top of the rail so i had no movement at all.

The way I said allows you to lower the complete mechanism and glass (still attached). You can lower it enough to undo the two bolts to raise the glass back up and wedge it in place. No power supply needed. I have two spare doors in my shed and I removed a complete mechanism with no power using the method I described in my first post. Easy and takes a couple of minutes.
