Thanks bud. :)

The steering wheel was a direct swap, no mods needed. Just a bit of a pain to get the airbag of (to actually secure the steering wheel) as there are two springs in small holes that you need to undo.

The gearknob was a cheap thing from eBay. About £6 I believe (brand new) it's not a genuine part but looks great and feels solid. Bit of a Bodge job to get on though. My old gaitor was used to help secure this in place as the gaitor that comes with the gearknob is flimsy and won't secure by itself. So cut the bottom of the old gaitor and used that as a base and stuck the new one around it. :)

I paid £55 delivered for mine. Put in a cheeky offer to the seller and he accepted so didn't think that was bad, but so long as it's in good condition I wouldn't mind paying around the £70-80 mark delivered.

Probably worth noting, it's a Lupo wheel, not Polo.

There's one and looks to be good. Exact same as mine.

Piston rings are gone, burning oil, and appears that my head gasket has gone now. It's still running though.  Hopefully it'll hold out until August.

lol thats the one im watching on my ebay now think im gonna go ahead and buy, thanks for you help m8

I wouldn't mind putting a mk4 golf hanbrake on mine my m8 thinks it will fit i do think he means just the surround.
I'm guessing the button is separate from the surround hes got a nice black leather one with the chrome button.

No worries man, go ahead and buy it, they look much better than the standard wheel in my opinion and does make it look more modern. Not sure about the handbrake gaitor. Maybe someone else can answer that one for you.
