Very Good News!

Just been told by my wonderful dealership that my GTi has gone into production today!
Been brought forward from BW9 to BW8!
Had to share this very good news.

MK6 GTI, 3 door, candy white, 18" monza shadow, Xenons, RCD 510 w "dynaudio", sunroof, rear view camera, cruise control & free servicing.
Ordered 28/10/2009. BW07 confirmed. production complete 10/02/2010. Arrived at dealers 17/02/2010. Driving on a 10 plate 01/03/2010.

My GTI was scheduled BW 14 but it will go into production in W 9.

This all good news at last on VW's part!! But it still beggers belief why they, VW have taken so long with the production of the GTI's. I know this much a lot of people have canceled there order's , I also think that its damaged VW's reputation to say the least?? CS are a joke the left arm does'nt know what the right arm is doing as far CS is concerned !! Good news though, for you all enjoy Steve :wink:

Well it's great news for all that their cars are now being built at last ! I was told the GTI was a "niche" car and as such was only built in batches of 10-15 and that's why they take longer to be built.. Not sure how much of that is salesman talk, mind you  :grin:
