So who's picking up the new car on 1st march?

Just as the title says. Whos getting their car a week on Monday??

Everything is looking good for me as the build/delivery process went quicker than expected. I know what my plate is going to be, although when i went to the dealers this morning they had made up the wrong plates  :sad: apart from that the dealer has been brilliant.

Must admit the "10" plate looks a little strange though.

My dealer expects me to recieve information from him by telepathy and know whats going on but sadly im not that good at it. I may get my car at the start of the month or not, I think it may have been the atmospheric conditions caused by the snow storm in york that interupted our brain wave comunications of late.

Hi Snoopy. What is the latest with your car? i think i read that it was built an awaiting shipment?

Hoping to be collecting mine this coming week.
Figured I can save the 2.5% VAT or maybe take a few hundred lower if/when I sell it, either wayit`ll cost me a bit, but
mines being registered with my private plate anyway, so noone going to know the age when I`m driving round.

Went to the dealer today. My car's still at the dock in Germany waiting to come over here but fingers crossed it'll be here in time for first few days in March. I don't know the reg number yet but I presume that'll all be sorted once the car arrives in Blighty...

Good luck to all those playing the waiting game like me and are hoping they'll be driving their new GTIs' on 10 plates in just over a week's time..  :smiley: :smiley:

Been waiting since the 18th of August and I've been told if all goes well (Fat Chance) then I should be driving away in it on the 3rd of March. Good luck to all the guys in the same boat as me :cool:
