FK adapters from venom are your cheapest bet. Buy some wider ones and sell your thinner ones, thats what im doing, trading my 30's for 35's or even 40's.

Cheers i'l have a look. Tried the spacers today and 9.5mm ripspeed spacer looked right and bulged very slightly past the rear wheelarch but the spacer sat on the remainding part of the hub so all that would have been holding the wheel in place is just the bolts, and that is assuming the spacers lined up (which they didn't).

40's!!!!   would look sweet but how u manage that???

Even 9.5mm spacing, looks like archwork might have to be done , anyone had any major drams doing this? Never straight forward!

Hi guys, just joined the site and have searched in the search options for stance advice but couldn't find too much.

Just really a bit of advice on improving the overall stance of the car. It was pretty much all guess work fitting the coilovers last week and after the shocks have settled, i think it's sitting too low at the back.

I've already got hub adaptors in place to fit the porsche rims, would these need replacing if wanting to bring the wheel out maybe 20mm if that isn't too far? Could this fail mot??

The D90's measure 8j and 9j 16's with 195/45/16 rubber fitted all round, only stretched at the back.

Any advice to improve the stnce would be great and if spacers would be the best option or not or even how far to go for that slight bulging look past the arches. Hopefully one of the less expensive mods!

Thanks in advance!! Chris

i recognise this car. are you by any chance in luton area?

My wheels are only 7's with 195/45 tyres all round, however, I was told to aim for a final offset of ET15.

I wanted my front wheels sitting in a little further though so I went for ET20 front and ET15 rear which looks spot on

Not in Luton bud.

Any archwork needed joe?

7's?? Using same size tyres and only strtched on rears, front tyres look standard. I know it can vary when strtching tyres depending on manufacturers but seems strange. Maybe my d90's are smaller than 7j up front? hmmmm Looks like good offset though!

The most popular size D90 set is 6j front and 8j rear. Although 7's arent that rare either.

Mine have a fair stretch, only cheapo tyres.

Im going to do away with my rear arch lip and go for 35 intead of 30mm adapters.

"Any arch work needed?"

Well - My front coilovers are wound down all the way to the bottom of the thread, and the lip of my wheels sit pretty much flush with the arch, so the arch lip itself is hammered flat lol
As for the rears, the coilovers are set a bit higher for the 'nose down' look (I like it), I've attacked the arches a little with a big hammer but not gone too far

Nice one. Need to measure the adaptors that are on at the moment to fix attach the porker wheels. If much wider there won't be any hub left!!

Liking the basic mod with the hammer if a bit crude! Should really pay the dosh!

Paid £300 for the car so taking a hammer to it never bothered me lol
