Lo all.
Just got my first vw, a mk4 golf gti turbo, 4 door jobbie, optinal bbs allows in green.
very impressed with how it runs and what a nice drive it is. fsh (had new dual mass clutch/cam belt+waterpump done last year) and i got it for a utter bargain of £2000 cash in hand.
will get pics up but first i have to machine polish all the swirl marks off it and get lots of dodo juice on it.
will enjoy the car for a bit then nip it down to jabbasport and get a stage 1 chip on it to perk it up a little.
mainly a honda fan (had 7 crx's over the last 10 years) the last one i hand built the engine, did most of the bodywork and re-mapped the ecu myself. (not bad seeming as im a diy mech) made 210.5hp and 158 lb/ft, not bad for a 2.0 liter nasp car.
trying to resist the urge to slap together a forged engine and see what i can milk out of a 5 cylinder :lol:
