Golf mk2 without bumpers
« on: 19 February 2010, 21:37 »
Been scouting round the internet, mags etc and searched on here, but can't find anything, pics or otherwise of a mk2 with the bumpers removed!
Anyone ever tried this or has anyone got any pics of any that have been done?
I like it on the mk1s but gonna try it on my mk2!

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Yea thats very true, might have to go for smooth big bumpers then.
Or do the retro small bumpers as Im doing now. See its completely original, and for now I wanna keep it that way, but in the future when I do mod it, Im either gona do something completely different, or just mod it subtly and retro if you get me?
