Anyone got any thoughts at all? What should I look for wen test driving a diesel?

have a look in the maintenance section for some common faults, also the engine shouldn't make a clicking sound if it does it needs new cams :sad: check the service history as the bushes, wheel bearings etc as the are coming to the end of their life at that age. cam belt needs doing at 120k

150's were introduced on 02 plates and have wood trim as standard

That is a 51 plate and has no wood trim

If you go see it you need to check the engine code is ARL

I'd bet on that being a 130 or a 115 myself

could be 150bhp but then it would be a remapped 115

A3's are overpriced imo,and the tdi 110 is not the best tdi to go for tbh. You want to find a PD model which is the 115, 130, 150 models. They have superior torque, are quieter, better mpg. :smiley:
