Mk1 or Mk2 16v? decisions decisions....

Hmmmm.... as above, I hear that the Mk1 is infinitely more reliable but as a daily? Seen a Campaign in great condition but tempted by a cheaper Mk2, love the drive of both Mk1 and Mk2.....

Gonna make up another 5 posts so I can PM, hope you don't mind peeps!!!

I think I'd get a 16v too if I were getting another MK2, got to get my current one working first  :grin:

Not keen on 16v's however a nice mk2 would be my choice.

Id go with the mk2 16v (biased  :grin:) altho id be aware that they are becoming increasingly more expensive to buy,so just make sure you buy a solid one.

The mk2 16V is more refined and comfortable as a daily driver in standard form but it all depends what you want from a car and probably your age as that effects what you want a car to feel like.
