Monza II Shadow offsets

Ive just gone and bought some second hand DOTZ PREDATOR alloys without tyres cheap but they are 8x18 with a offset of 45 and the Monza II shadows are 7.5x18(not sure what the offset is).

The bloke i bought them from had them on his Scirocco with 8mm and 13mm spacers and also tells me im going to need the spacers as well.

Does anyone know if this is true or is he telling me porkie pie's! ALSO what size tyres will i need (225/40/18?)

ET51 the scirocco has a different offset of ET41

Sorry i missed the second part of the question. You can reuse the 225 tyres ok if you want or go upto 235.
