Stretchage on wide Weller steels
« on: 16 February 2010, 12:55 »
I have been looking on the forum, but not found the answer to the question I have.

Just got a set of 7.5x14 and 8.5x14 Weller steels, not wanting to get into should I shouldn't I just if anyone has any suggestions. I would ideally like to run the same tread pattern all round. Looking at the Nankangs NS-2 155-55-14 on the front and 155-65-14 on the rear.

Nankang NS-2's aren't that bad but avoid NS-1's!

 Nah, It'll be all good, got decent tyres on my 16's. Used to have CEAT debicas on my first car, they were similar to the tyres on a kids tractor, you just modify your driving style to suit. But for the stretch I'll be running I'm not going to be driving at 9 tenths everywhere
