window winders

I have finally decided to have alook at the old gti tht i got for free
the front window winders donot work
the previous owner says he had alook and the cables have snapped does anyone know where i could get these

Are they manual windows?

One of my regulators broke, so I bought a complete door off ebay for £10.  :smiley:

I raped it of its regulator, kept the mirror, handle and side molding for stock, and binned the rest.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

You can get window mechanisms seperatley but my advice is get an oem one - I got a pattern one and it was like raising the titantic so I changed it...

had a look in local breakers but theres no mk2's  i wondering if any other vag models will be same
but if it comes to it ill get either ebay or elsewhere
