Regional Sections?
« on: 14 February 2010, 15:22 »
Not sure if it's been done or mentioned before but how about a section with the individual regions throughout the country. People can keep up to date with all things VW in their region. We can all share our experiences of companies/mechanics in our areas. Could also be used to organise regional meets.

What you think?

I agree, currently we only have http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?board=39.0, it would be better is we had more catogorised areas.

When I had a Peugeot I was part of a forum who had separate regional sections and it helped find people in your area who could help with car stuff. I made a friend who knew a lot about ICE and he would help me fit bits for beer tokens and bacon sarnies.

We used to , but if im honest the "regions" didnt have enough regular memebers to make them worth while

this place is a fairly "small" forum compaired to other is used , the regular memeber use isnt that huge

if there is an event goin on the there is usually a thread in the meets section then the local from that area usually sort out a convoy start point

If Jesus Christ owned a rolling road and it was calibrated and tested by the three wise men you'd still get some jerk asking you to back up your figures, that's t'internet for ya

Mybe you could make the catchment arears for each region bigger like north south and central maybe that would work
