 Can anyone recommend a decent upgrade for the rear brakes without breaking the bank?

You could fit the 256mm Off an anniversary, or I think Leon Cupra R are the same? And may be Octavia VRS???

If your rear discs are fine, then just buy some red/yellow-stuff from buypartsby.
