Anyone used the above dealers?

Got my car booked in for some warranty work, are they mod friendly?

What sorts of mods you lot got?

Do you switch maps off and declare it to the service desk?

I'm going in for the chirping timing belt thing and worried they'll bomb me out cos I've got REVO.

That's a tricky one, i just had mine fixed under warrenty same issue , new cam belt , tensioner's , water pump , but mine's not moded. Fast enough for me, bloody glad as well would have cost me a fortune to have that lot done with out my warrenty!! Dont tell them and see what comes out of it??? Hope you get it sorted mate thanks Steve

IMO dont think you need to, its mechanical problem so it wouldnt come up on the VAG codes anyway!! Thanks Steve

Mine went in for the same as your's RobGTI and Steve30's on Tuesday - it had the APR trial remap (although it had expired and set itself back to stock) - BUT they said that they checked it on VAGCOM and no reported issues.  So, they obviously didn't see the APR map, or they weren't alarmed about it.

Came out fixed - no chirping - hurray (only had 2,000 miles left on warranty )

Personally I'd put it in, locked on the Stock setting, and see, but you takes your chances I suppose if you get a sh1tty dealer.
