starting issues
« on: 08 February 2010, 17:39 »
hi all
finally my first post after 3 glorious years of mk2 ownership.
when starting  from  cold starts on one cylinder then 2  then 3 then explodes into life as she used to on first turn of  the key.
changed all the usual parts but not FPA or ISV but to no avail. forgot to say this all happens in 5 seconds and need to apply some throttle or this will continue for about 30 secs.l believe kjet should hold 5bar pressure when off.cracked nut off plenty pressure how can i measure this to make sure its enough?could it be fuel pump?or spark?
kr engine post 90 spec milltek 4 into 1 kandn panel

thanks in advance

plugs slighty sooty running rich 4percent co ish wont stabilise co fluctuating, see this when MOT done, man was a tosser would not let me unplug lead from near coil and breather to see if will stabilise!!!!!!!!!!! also would not use EGA unless MOT was conducted.
