hmm.  bit of a dodgy body kit, and they don't show you the front-left corner of the car!

Looks ok to me.  Not too keen on the side skirts and cream bits, but that's just me.

?2,500 for a 95 VR6 with 87k miles is pretty reasonable.  Probably about right for a modded one.

The ad doesn't mention service history which is very important with VR6s.  Find out what s/h it has.  Also check the quality of the mods i.e what lowered suspension has it got?  Is the exhaust well fitted etc..

After that just check the usual things, see the buying mk3s sticky thread in the mk3 section.

And of course go and see the car and drive it before you consider buying it.

A VR6 isn't a way of life, it's just a car.

Looks really nice!

But few alarm bells there.  Hasnt filled in the car details very well and he's not a novice ebayer.
No previous owners?
And he doesnt give any real reason for selling.

Nice long MOT.

This sounds like a private trader to me.
Would really need to check the history and do HPI

He did say he'd part ex for a 4x4, so perhaps his needs have changed.

Not sure about that body kit but the leather trim looks good.
