Good job on the relay box, that'll be nice and neat by the look of it

As for your lights I'd try yellow high beams with clear mains.

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

Yellow has it so far... but i must admit im quite partial to the dark smoke, otherwise could there be too many colours?

i have another untouched box (oo-err) for the price of postage if you want it?

I don't think a semi will give the same results

Soooooooolllllllllllllldddddddddddddddd!!! Thanks mate... do you reckon i'll get my three relays in there though!

Yeah thats why i was thinking dark smoke, the next main colour comes from the trim so think the smoke suits it.

it measures 67x97x33 internally, so i should think so

my relays have built in fuse holders so are taller than yours, and mine will fit fine (albeit i have 2 and not 3)

ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!

some pikies tried stealing the car thursday night. They gave up when the alarm triggered as theres nothing taken from the vehicle and no ignition damage. I do however have 2 broken door handles to replace:

Luckily There is no more damage. The armoured door plate and OE door handle saved the drivers side. The passenger side (through which they gained entry and triggered the alarm) had no armoured plate and a cheap pattern handle, which snapped off around the rear mount. The passenger lock/barrel has also been totally butchered.

todays tip:
get armoured door plates and only use OE handles!

I dont think mine was specifically targetted as there was another vehicle in the village with ignition barrel damage and another golf which was stolen. I got off lightly!

Anyway I have now moved the car to a more secure location, so would-be thieves can go f##k themselves.

That wouldn't be the first time Chris! Replaced passenger door as they bent the frame to get and nick.... 3 cd's.  Pisses me off the lack of respect for peoples stuff.  Glad the alarm is working properly though eh?!
