thanks, tbh thats down to benrevs who had smoothed the bay before i bought it. the filler is starting to crack in places though

looks good that, love stencil work on bits like that! :afro:

cheers, didnt take much, theres loads of stencils on ebay :afro:

Nice touch mate, Looks loads better in there with the orange details too, still gotta get myself the same cable tidy stuff at some point but in red me thinks.

just dont paint your engine bay green with grafitti paint!... or maybe you should!

hmmm green would be good but engine would have to come out... i was going to stencil in green but i'd ran out of the paint i'd used for the grille stripe. oh and trust me, the engine will not be coming out unless 100% necessary!

Re: cняis's mk2 VR6 - AKA Christine - now LOWER P16
« Reply #154 on: 27 September 2010, 22:08 »
Got the oil changed in our workshop today, so thought i'd get the suspension dropped another 10mm all round. Was told i couldnt have it any lower as otherwise the car wouldnt get on/off our ramp

Also bought a new solid front engine mount, and UPPER front crossmember (I now need a LOWER crossmember!). Ive been prepping a front panel too as the original is a bit distorted around the lower grill mounts.

More updates to come

Looking good, its great when you can do little tweaks and make things perfect that you're not happy with.... love this car, if i'm tottally honest the only thing that still bugs me is the grille, the green is a good idea to go with the orange, its just the mesh???  :undecided:
