looking good Chris, do like the green grille just needs the mesh or center puting back in perhaps a single slatted grille or will u have heat issues?  and great vid :afro:

the mesh is in

there are no heat issues as its a vr6 rad with twin fans, also i have a low temperature thermostat as my old one got stuck and it boiled over

perhaps the metal-work behind the mesh painting black? Also i think it needs a VR6 badge putting back on...  :undecided:

I don't think a semi will give the same results

That grille is nasty.

Single light OEM FTW.

What's the alignment set up on the front wheels?  Something about them doesn't look quite right.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

not sure DH, but the tyres are wearing evenly and it drives nicely. It doesnt pull to one side and when you release the steering wheel it keeps in a straight line

do you think it should be running more neg camber?

Heh - maybe I'm just used to the look of a G2 with negative camber on it

I'd be tempted to drop -0.5 deg on the front - you'll find it'll sharpen the turn in no end.

surely the front tyres would wear excessively on the inner edges? or is -0.5 minimal?

-0.5 is what I run on any car I drive on the road enthusiastically.

Ask Nick whether the Polo's wearing its tyres evenly - that's what that was set up to when it got the new suspension on it.
