mk3 golf clutch

chaps need some help just bought a mk3 2.0 8v(god help me)
does anyone know if the clutch is adjustable its biting right at the top and crunches second gear unless clutch is fully depressed
is it just an adjustment or a new clutch?

will have a butchers in my haynes manual for you in a bit matey, will post a reply later on tonight as my missus has taken the golf to work today.

i've not got a mk3 yet..

but its should be the same as on the vento i had, it was self adjusting, which means it cant be manually adjusted..

sounds like a new clutch mate

Might be worth changing the cable first, the self adjusting mechanism is a bit rubbish.

Sounds more like the clutch gone though :(



A VR6 isn't a way of life, it's just a car.
