New Front End
« on: 30 October 2004, 11:40 »
Thinking about changing the front end of my MK2.... Like square lights, but not keen on the jetta, and the rallye is to much... I would, however, like these lights. How easy, if at all possible, would it be?

It's certainly different. Not my taste really, but it might work.
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

your best bet is to try and find a set and offer them up to your car to see what would need to be modified. that way you won't have to shell out money for something that could be more time consuming, more expensive and insufficient as opposed to something made for a golf. i know this sounds hard but if you know where there are a set then its worth checking it out before forking out any cash.

Please!! See how different they are to the golf! I'd have thought they weren't too different, but you never know :-\

I would imagine you could just cut your slam panel and weld the supports out of the carvelle support. probably be a bit of work but anything is possible.
