Is Hammerite paint alright to use on my aliminum cylinder head or would proper high temperature paint be better?

just out of interest which hammerite?
I was looking at a tin the other day and it says on the back to use special metals primer if painting alley.

yeah i thought hammerite to ally needed primer! thought about polishing it matey rather than painting? especially being ally would come up nice!

would hammerite be too thick to paint the cylinder head with? assumed it would need to be sprayed
