Another Newbie - Hello!!
« on: 01 February 2010, 19:58 »
Hi all,

I'm Mike, I've just brought a mk3 GTi 16v, and although I love GTi's & cars in general, I know absolutely nothing about them! (Shocking admission, but might aswell be honest!)

I'm trying to sort out a few bits for the new motor, and I came across this site. Hopefully I will be able to find out some useful bits on here, and I might actully learn a thing or two about cars at last! No doubt I will be asking some really simple questions in the next few days, so please go easy on me!!

lol @ chuff!

hey, welcome to the forum

loads of info in the mk3 section, a search usually throws up what you're looking for!
Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

Wow, wasn't actually expecting any responses! Thanks for the welcome messages.

Chuff - (For the first time ever on a forum) I read the rules before posting! I'm going to really try to make a conscious effort not to make an arse out of myself. (Can I say arse on here? Potential task fail in one sentence! :undecided:)

I've had a good look through some of the sections on the site last night. A few good questions on there, but a few seem to have gone unanswered. I'll bump them up the list in the next few days rather than repeating the same stuff. Search function could be extremely useful, thanks for the heads up on that one.

Thanks again

everyone gets a hello here!

arse, generally acceptable. just stick a few !"£$%^&*()@ in the middle if you aint sure!  :nerd:

sometimes threads for faults don't get answers, all depends who's online to see it... sometimes it's best to start a new one.. always make sure you get the jist of the post in the title or noone will bother reading it.
