Sounds like a good start.

Personally I would return the chamois and get a waffle weave drying towel instead (I use Sonus Der Wunder Towel - Awesome!)

Also ditch the sponge and get a wash mitt instead.

Sorry bud - but that's just my advice.

Other than that, you just need a day's worth of decent weather!

no.7 very crap product and a waist of money
no.8 will add scratches to your paint, ditch and get a drying towel as said, ive just got two drying towels from monza and they are very good.
no.10 ditch the sponge as this will also scratch your car and get a lambs wool wash mitt, and add another bucket

Items 7, 8 and 10 I would replace with a waffle, a proper tyre dressing and a wash mitt (not the stuff from Halfords though). What are you using the Terry towel for? And get some decent microfibre cloths.

Yep good advice given above.

Upto No. 6 you were going so well

I've never use No. 7 so can't really comment, however Dan knows his stuff so i'll go with what he says if it's rubbish.

No. 8 - I have to agree, get rid of that chamois and get a good quality drying towel.

No. 10 - a sponge isn't the end of the world as long as it's a good quality one, something along the lines of a microfibre sponge or the Zymol sponge. If not, get yourself lambswool mitt.
