Is it true - Red ones are quicker ??
« on: 30 January 2010, 14:29 »
Somehow (possibly through witchcraft) my wife has ended up with a near new Discovery 3 even though we set out to buy me a new car ??

So I have ended up inheriting the family GTI.

It’s just had it’s first deep clean in 6 months – now looking as it should.

Niiiicccccceee! I always thought black were quicker....

Silver is cleaner though :afro:
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

Wasn't there a study done by a load of  :nerd: :nerd: :nerd: that said something like, black cars crashed the most, silver were the safest and red was the fastest, well not fastest but driven faster than other colours.

Apparently it was accurate and had more to do with the persons personality and colour choice.

anyway, everyone knows white is the fastest, ever tried overtaking a Transit.
