Shorter Intercooler Route

If i was to shorten the route my intercooler takes,would this require a map tweek to suit?

i don't think it does all you'l be doing is lessening the travel of air through the intake system

i don't think it does all you'l be doing is lessening the travel of air through the intake system
My concern is that the map is tweaked to my car as it stands :undecided:

i know what your saying patch but shortening the route shouldn't really alter anything obviously if it was removed then as you already know then it would could ask nick tomorrow and see what he says  :wink:

Hello M8,

Shorter the better. :wink:  (just as Ben..PMSL.. :evil:)

Nothing in the mapping to change really, you will benefit from less turbo lag, and if you wrap the pipes well the that silver cloth stuff and keep the pipes away from the engine as such as you can yuo will get cooler intake temps.
