r32 conversion?

i got a 51 plate gt tdi, with a blown engine just looking at conversion to an r32. anyone got any info on wat exactly i need to get hold of? (apart from the engine haha) done conversions before but not on vw's, so any help an guidense wud be much appreciated.

not to mention floor plan would need working on to house the prop, brakes, suspension, all need doing

its alot of work is it really worth it, by the time you bought all the bits, it may be more worth while just buying an r32

but then it wouldnt be an r32 conversion just a v6  :laugh:

which gearbox would fit if you wanted to keep it fwd ??

O2m fwd

It wouldn't be just a V6.  It would be a R32 powered car running fwd.  With the saving in weight running fwd the rolling on performance would be better (**depending on road conditions) than a full 4wd esp if he fitted an atb diff

That's gone from a 1.6 to a 2.8 to a 3.2 complete with supercharger  :cool:

i have done fook all work today just been reading this, the blokes a genius to do it all himself, mind you i know who im going to pm when i want to upgrade my brakes now only got to page 18 so far lol
