Performance upgrades
« on: 23 January 2010, 19:58 »
I have an 8v '90 GTi with lowered suspension and an induction kit. I'm looking at a performance gain. Bike carbs don't seem wise as it's injected already. A re-bore is probably out of my budget so which way should I go?

ECU mapping is one option the other might be a turbo. Can anyone point me in the way of pros - cons, costs and how to go about it?

Thanks.

I am not 100% sure about installing the cam into the engine as mine was installed when I got it but I believe the cam pulley needs installing which means taking the cambelt off...
