need help please car wont start

i park my mk3 golf 1.4 cl at my friends for a week as we where going away car was driving perfect and when i arrived home it wont start it turn over fine but just wont fire up as far as i can see it getting a spark ok but just wont start

maybe the fuel pump relay has gone or the fuel pump is broke.

Thanks for the reply got it sorted it was a faulty coil pack it was'nt giving a full spark
