Probably...
Mk4 Anniversary or R32 which are 7.5" x 18 ET38 along with 205/35/18 tyres should fit.
They have the correct 5 x 100 bolt pattern, a pretty good offset...so should be OK.

On standard suspension though?
It'll look odd.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

Just to confirm you have a GTI or VR6.

Any other models will be 4x100 and not fit.

Later 5x100 Polo's MK4 Golfs will fit but the tyres most likely will be the wrong size for the MK3 Golfs.

18"s will not fit without major mods and look daft, way too big for a mk3, mk4 wheels will fit but the standard size tyres are too big.

5x100 with around a 35 offset is the fitment you need.

5x110 with a 35 offset is the fitment you need.

Typo, 5x100. ;)
