Had the car down at Volkskraft to have a few minor problems fixed including

A loose steering coloum - incorrect bolts fitted
Gear change wouldn't spring to the centre properly - adjusted accordingly.

A top job again and the car was also droppped of at home when it was done    Great news when i was going on holiday that week and didn't have alot of spare time to collect the car!!

I still need to get the exhaust fitted and set the engine up correctly and also the MFA isn't working along with the temp sensor not working so i shall be booking it in shortly to have that done

 All sorted wonderful job again done by Volkskraft, Going back for a check after xmas for the sluggish pickup The cars not been running right since i got the engine fitted, Not too worried as i'm not using the car for a while yet.

Got a new D/S/R electric window moter to fit 2mo as mine seized up. Lucky find at a LOCAL scrap yard. Thought i'd have a nightmare getting one.

Off to a bodyshop for some paintwork rectification before xmas and undersealing hope to get a good job done second time around!!

Been a hectic few months now & been changing jobs & home so the cars have suffered for this! Been using my jetta 16v for a while but its just fried the ignition switch at the weekend  :undecided: rather annoying. The G60 had a leak through the bulkhead which i have yet to sort out been so hectic it's just been at my parents house! Gonna be working on it over the coming months along with my Mk1 16v due to get this painted halfway through november!

Plans changed with moving & i'm currently using the jetta with plans to sell the car in the new year! Have done extensive resoration work to the car recently & it's starting to look a very nice old 16v! As for the Gold G60 i'll be getting this on the road next year once i've sold the Jetta & 309! Have been pressured into selling up (gutted) i suppose i can only drive one at a time!

Thought i best update my project!

Recent developments have seen a lot of medial work done & the car is currently with Volkskraft for MOT work!

Problems were really nice & easy to fix like

Beam pattern
PAS resevoir location insecure
Indicator - bad connection
Adjust rear handbrake
Brake flexi twisted

Only downside being the fuel filter casing was cracked so i've had to get some new hoses to replace the corroded pipework under the car!

When i get her back i'll be left to put the interior back in as the leaks are all fixed now! & a major valet is needed!! Best get my polish out me thinks!

Hoping to pick the car up with MOT @ the weekend!

Update 2nd June 2007

MOT Carried out needed a load of work as it's been stood for a while now... Gettin my situation slowly sorted out & the 309 Goodwood will be up for sale soon.

Car needed PAS resevoir securing
Handbrake adjusting
Fuel pump housing replacing (leak) + fitted all new hoses from VAG too!
Ind bulb bad connection

Also had a leak so the interior is out & i located a few areas we were lettin in the water. Door membranes & a gromit in the bulkhead bein the main issue.

All addressed & now all i need to do to get the car back onto the road is to put the interior back into place! A job to do when i'm back at my parents house in two weeks time (where the car is kept)

Looking forward to driving the car will be sept @ the earliest i think though....
