chrome interior door handles

i've seen you can buy them on ebay and stuff . but was wondering if there was any other vw models i could get some out of from a scrap yard and save myshelf a few quid . or does someone one have 4 i could buy

They actually look very nice. I have a pair in my car and it's made the interior feel a little more up to date (as they come standard in 3.5 cabrios and also Mk4's/Boras) I would probably agree with you if they were chrome effect plastic crap but they're very heavy metal and very good quality.

Unfortunately I can't help with where to purchase them although I'd say it's worth biting the bullet and buying them off ebay.

passats 97on have them and they look similar to mk3 one's (although I can't say 100% they fit!)

No, I never said they did. I drive a Bora and a Mk3 and just thought that the Bora would be a good example to use.
It's a newer car, therefore by copying the idea of the chrome interior handles, it makes the Mk3 interior feel more 'up to date'.

My plan was to update my interior a bit so I fitted the chrome door handles, VR6 lower glovebox/passenger airbag, Highline centre console, Mk4 gearknob, black roof lining/pillar trims/sun visors.. I wanted a Mk4 steering wheel but they're too big.. so next on my list is 3.5 clocks.

got them in mine, just like all the mk 4's have

mine are out of the 3.5 cab, got them at the dealer. they are about £7 each and made of metal not cheepo plastic

I had these in mine and they were metal ones (but a bit more than Kells paid for his though   :embarassed:)
