I was tempted with the 18s for looks, but the 17s were recommended by the dealer as giving a better ride, and also they are a LOT cheaper to refurbish after the inevitable kerb/wheel interface ...
17s will cost c.£50 a go to refurb, 18s will cost c.£100 a go - if you can find someone who can do it who isn't a million miles away ...
I just know the 18s would get kerbed at some point ... by my wife obviously
