You are forgetting one big factor you don't have a golf r you have a gti?

good thanks... does everything I need in the right sized package.  still love the looks and the interior.  performance is great in manual mode... D is a little sluggish but more relaxing/ economical and can always be overridden.

anyways, sorry hijacking your thread.  looking forward to seeing more about the Golf R... not ruling out a change in a couple of years' time.... tho a 2nd hand RS4 would be more tempting!  :cool:

Exactly ! Golf R or not for 7k more VW can jog right on :( it appears only the very fortunate who can afford that sort of money on a car will have them.

I have printed of all golf r's either at dealers in uk or on there way to them and there is 19 of them which are currently not customer tagged!!!!!!

List to follow shortly!
