You say you have been quoted £440?

R-Tech will do it cheaper -
CAT-BACK - Resonated with 4-Motion Tail Pipes                        = £349 fitted

then

LARGE-BORE DOWNPIPE & Decat                                                     = £165 fitted

£514 and your a happy boy. They may even stick you on the dyno if you supply some biscuits.

Turbo back is THE only option on a diesel

The quote you've had though is    Altogether I've paid £465 for a COMPLETE system FITTED

As Steve has said mine passed its MOT 3 weeks ago and all the bloke commented on was 'you've done some work to that haven't you'  :smug:  He noticed the decat too but it still passed the smoke test

It will fit but you need an adaptor sleeve from Jetex to make it fit as Milltek don't produce an adaptor

adam iwas quoted sililar to your price for descreet tails

anyhow would rather use well lane as its on my doorstep so no travel costs, plus well lane mapped the car so im happy for them to deal with this too.

im gonna call my mate at the dealer and ask about the mot thing just to make sure

next question,iv got my v6 valance (52 quid from dealer) here, how easy to remove old one and fit the new one?

not looked at the car yet

I'd ask for a better price then

Look on ukmkivs if you're unsure about diesel's passing MOT withou the cat's - 90% of them run without one and have NO PROBLEM at all; 100%!! It will pass!!

Rear valence is two screws in each arch and the just grip and rip - the clips are in fairly tight mind so take a bit of care.  Best to start one end and work your way around

They test for smoke for sure - mine wasn't tested for emissions  :undecided:  If its remapped properly then it will pass    for the sake of £150 its well worth it otherwise IMO the catback on its own is not worth the money
