Spray to stop windows steaming?

I know it's probably more to do with the seals but my windows steam up so easily, i look at every car down my street and my car looks like a steam room compared to any other car.

Is there any kind of window cleaner or something that will reduce steam forming?
Even if it helps slightly I will go for it.

I heard that them silica gel things are supposed to be ok.

Why not stop the car steaming up in the first place? What car is it?

The familly car, a Peugeot 406 Est, steams up almost instantly.  That may have more to do with the fact that the dog gets into the boot wet and the kids with boots and stuff.  Short of getting a dehumidifyer into the car to drag some of hte mosture out, if there is a product that actually works to cut this down then that would be useful.

mk2, i try having heaters on and it works but then as soon as i turn them off it instantly starts to come back and the car gets hot so i have to then let colder air in and its just a constant hassle to get it right.

It should clear pretty quickly if your air-con is working properly.

You need to try to draw the moist air out. Try driving with the windows down a few mm, then close them when you stop.

putting rainx or any other product will be a waist of money and your time dude, from the serverity of your problem im pretty sure the sound proofmateriel/foam is proberly very wet under the carpet, and though the carpet may not feel very damp its all underneath so you may have to lift the carpets fully or just enough to allow the moisture to escape from underneath, check your spare wheel well aswell to see if theres a pool in there as they are prone to collecting due to the drainage holes blocking up, you need to get a heater in there whilst the carpets are lifted to fully dry out the underneath.

Heard good things about them but I've only had mine a week so can't really comment yet. 20% off at frost on these at the mo too (typical after I buy mine a fortnight a go  )
